Oh yes, I too have the weakness of wanting a good flutter every so often. I am not so much as a pokie player, but I am a table player. Wow the money goes faster either when you are on pokies or table as I hate to admit there no difference between the two, it's still gambling!
I saw gambling counselor for help when I started to feel it was getting out of control. Now after a few years, I know gamble less and I feel more in control.
i have lost so much money in my time with these things, i have had a real wake up call when my son was born to do somethign decent with my money, i never went to gamblers annomous i did it all on my own i stear clear of everythign witha machine in it, it is so hard but worth it. i wouldnt say take them away because there are people out there who can set limits, i would only use suggestions like they do now other then that its on the person to be responsible with thier money unlike my self years ago.
I love gambling. Pokies ARE my social life and I can't live without them.
They are my love, my life, my all.
They are my sunshine, my only sunshine and make my happy when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, just how much I love them, so please don't take my Pokies away.
